Do you have the Original iPod?
Wondering how many people bought the 1st generation iPod? Those who did... how many still have it? And those who still have it... how many of them still work?

Does having a first gen Nano count? lol.
Ok I did buy the original iPod when it first came out. Nothing so nifty had ever blown my mind like that till then. But it went to my dad's hands and well it's lying in some old cupboard somewhere. But I don't quite know where. :(

I didn't buy one, till I got my iPhone. I bought a Sansa long ago. I was strictly a Windows man, and anti-Apple-itunes-drm person. But after I got the iPhone, I realized who TERRRIBLY EASY it was to manage my music. Now, I bought my wife a Nano, and hope to get the kids one soon.

I remember 6-7 years ago when the first iPod was released (not 100% positive of the exact date) but my roommate in college told me that he got an iPod and I was like a what? I told him why didn't you get a CD player or mp3 player? Little did I know, that the company what makes that little iPod would drive the tech industry forward in ways no one imagined.

I kinda feel a bit of nostalgia though when I touch an audio CD lol. Cos it's been that long (thanks to the iPod and iTunes and MP3s in general) since I had to actually throw in an audio Cd into a player to listen to music. The iPod sure changed a lot.

Can't say I bought it, or have it. I do have an out of order 3rd generation ipod, and I wonder just how awesome the first one was and how awesome the next one is. I remember when my family used to use cd players. They seem a little obselete now with the ipod and other mp3 players, but i'm not complaining.
No more scratched cd's and messed up music. My cousin has a first generation though, she cradled the thing since her first year in college and still does, I played with it and it still seems almost just as cool as my 3rd gen.
